How Does Voting Work?

All submissions are first placed in the running for the chance of becoming one of our Shirt of the Day winners. Submissions will remain in the running for an undetermined amount of time until they are either 1) chosen as a winner and printed or 2) moved to the archive section. The amount of time a submission remains in the running before either being selected as a winner or moving to the archive section is anywhere from 1 day to 120 days, depending on many factors such as the number of votes the submission has received, the rate at which it has received the votes, where the votes are coming from, the comments on the submission, and where/from whom comments are coming from. If a submission is performing extremely well or extremely poorly right away, it will be chosen as a winner or be moved to the archive section somewhat quickly. Other submissions may remain in the running for a longer period of time before completing the process. Submissions that are chosen as one of our winning Shirts of the Day will then be eligible to be selected as a winning Shirt of the Week and/or Month.
